Hookedoncrafts 21st Challenge "All that Glitters"

Another month has passed and it only seems like it started a week ago.
The theme this month at Hookedoncraft challenges is All that Glitters. The idea to create something with sparkle!
I made this card for a dear friend's birthday and thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

Here is the card

Inside the card

I'm not sure the name of this style card but I used a small and large square card to create it.

I have used purple glitter paper as the background but it's hard to see the sparkle in the photo.
The sentiment stamp is a justrite stamp that is awesome as you can customise them to make your own style you need. I cut the rosette at 2" from a cricut cartridge called ribbons and rosettes. (I just love this cart)
The pearl bling is from flourish with a bling and the bling around the sentiment is from want to scrap which are customised to fit the justrite stamps.

The flowers, leaves, hanging beaded charm and dragonfly trinket pin are from HOOKEDONCRAFT

Hookedoncrafts 20th challenge "Flowers"

It's that time again for another hookedoncraft challenge. The theme this month at Hookedoncraftchallenges is flowers to celebrate Mothers day here in Australia. It will be my first mothers day which will be exciting and weird at the same time.

I made this card for my mum and just hope she doesn't see this post before she receives the card!

If you do then Happy mothers day mum!

Close up of the bear holding a bunch of flowers

I cut the scalloped card using my cricut and made it into a side stair step card. The cute little bear image is from Pollycraft designs and I edited the original image and removed the heart he was holding so I cut put a bouquet of flowers there instead. I coloured him in using Copic markers.
The sentiment stamp is a justrite stamp and I have used spellbinders to cut it out and layer it.
The bling is from flourish with a bling and the ribbon is from my stash.

The flowers and butterfly are from HOOKEDONCRAFT

Hookedoncrafts 19th Challenge "Easter!"

Another busy month has flown past me again! We managed to do a local craft show while the sister in law babysat the twins. It was good to have a break but I had to be super organised with them and the show at the same time!

This months theme at Hookedoncraft challenges is EASTER and I managed to find some time to create this card for my mum.

I used my Cricut Gypsy with Easter and Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridges to create the eggs and grass for this card. I cut out the silver flourishes from a die in my stash which is from Joycrafts I think.

The bunny is part of a stamp from an easter stamp I had from Outlines rubber stamps and I used some pink flock on his tail! The little flowers are from Hookedoncraft and can be found Here which are just perfect for this card!

Here is a close up of the bunny with his cute little cotton tail!

Hookedoncrafts 18th Challenge "More than one Fold!"

Thank god that Hookedoncraft challenges have decided to go monthly as I just got this card made in time.
I don't seem to have as much time as I used to as the Twins are now almost 4 months.

More than one fold is the theme this month at Hookedoncraft challenges

I had to make thankyou cards for everyone that so kindly gave me something for the Twins. I ended up having to make 24 and somehow managed to get them done in 3 days between feed and sleep times!

Here is the thankyou card I made.
It's called a crisscross card and I thought it worked quite well as I had a boy and a girl and was able to incorporate some papers to represent each of them.

The inside of the card where I just had to stamp this cute twins image from LOTV which a friend lent to me.
I decided not to colour in the image and kept the card design simple otherwise it would be next year before I was able to send them out!
I also slipped in a laminated photo of the twins with a magnet on the back for them to put on their fridge.

I used a Justrite stamp for the Thankyou sentiment and I just love how you can mix and match with this type of stamp.

I have used Spellbinders to cut the circle sentiments out and also the lacey circles. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the zig zag border.
The Leaves, Roses, Mesh Ribbon, White adhesive pearls and little flowers are from Hookedoncraft

Hookedoncrafts 15th Challenge "Try something new!"

Well it's the start of the new year for the challenges over at Hookedoncraft and I somehow managed to find the time to create a card in between feeding, burping and changing nappies with my 6 week old twins Olivia and Liam.

This fortnights challenge at Hookedoncraft challenges is to try something new. I decided to create a card using stitching. I have been meaning to use my sewing machine with card making before but I never could be bothered cleaning up the mess to get to it! I had my machine out while I was making a twin feeding pillow for the twins and I thought why not use it.

Here is the card I made

I have used the Butterfly Bear stamp from Hookedoncraft which can be found Here.
I have coloured him in with copic markers.

The Paper Doylie, Aqua Flower lace ribbon, White Mesh ribbon and the Mulberry Paper Leaves and Purple Carnation are also from Hookedoncraft

The small butterfly beaded charm is from the new range at Hookedoncraft which will be released very soon. I have attached the charm to the centre of the ribbon using a crystal brad.

I created the ticket sentiment myself.
